The practice of Yoga began for me after the turn of the new millennium and would significantly come to shape the direction of my life path. For the past eleven years, my practice of Yoga has led to my own personal discovery. Significantly, the advantages include our own ability to unfold the higher powers that are accessible to us both internally and externally.
In 2005 I traveled to Northern India to live a simple ashram life imbibing the true qualities of a yogic lifestyle – simplicity, awareness and Self-observation. In Southern India, I explored the Self-healing practice of Ayurveda. This ancient practice aims to restore wholeness with our inner self as its ultimate goal, which is essentially spiritual healing.
My practice today has developed into an understanding that Yoga is one of the most extraordinary spiritual sciences. Its methods encompass all of human existence – from the spiritual, emotional, sensory and physical all leading to the highest Self-realization.

Yoga & Yoga Nidra Meditation
~1.5 hour session
This yoga practice focuses on connecting with the breath and flowing the body through physical postures. Our gentle focus on the postures results in steadiness of body and mind energies. This session is appropriate for practitioners who are looking to build core strength, improve muscular endurance, increase stress resistance, and prevent the development of disease. The application of the series of postures make it one of the most useful methods to induce a healthy, vigorous, active life and at the same time results in expansion of awareness. We strengthen both internally and externally as we allow our practice to take us towards happiness - the goal of yoga and life - as we balance both intensity and total relaxation.
The last part of the session is spent in Yoga Nidra or ‘Yoga Sleep’. This versatile relaxation technique is appropriate for people who are looking for deep relaxation, stress management, to harmonize the deeper unconsciousness and to awaken inner potential. Yoga Nidra has its most widespread application as a preventative measure, to be practiced by healthy, active people as a means of relieving accumulated tension, increasing stress resistance, improving overall efficiency, and preventing the development of disease.
I look forward to practicing with you soon.
